Frequently asked questions

What Orin is and who it is for

What Orin does, the kind of work it is built for, and what you need to get started.

An assistant for your office work

Orin is an assistant that handles the office side of running a business. It can make and send invoices, answer email, book meetings, and keep spreadsheets up to date. You ask for what you need in a message, and Orin does the work and tells you when it is finished.

Who it is built for

Orin was built first for home builders, who spend their days on job sites and their evenings on paperwork. It can pull supplier bills and receipts out of your email, file each one under its job, and keep a spreadsheet for every job current. It also works well for independent consultants, small law firms, real estate agents, and other small businesses with a steady stream of email, invoices, and scheduling.

It learns how you work

Orin remembers your logo, your invoice layout, your rates, your payment terms, and the way you write. Over time, the invoices and emails it prepares look like they came from you, and it files things the way you usually do.

More than email

Orin has its own browser, so it can also use supplier sites, portals, and online forms on your behalf. You can ask it to repeat a task every week or every month, and it will keep doing so until you tell it to stop.

What you need to start

You need a phone number and a Google or Microsoft account. You verify your number, connect your email and calendar, and send Orin your first message. Setup usually takes a few minutes.
