By text message
Most people talk to Orin by text. Orin has its own number, and you message it from your phone the same way you would message a person. You can send a request, a photo of a receipt, or a file, and Orin replies in the same thread with updates, results, and any files it made for you.
On the web
You can also chat with Orin on the webfrom any browser. The web app is also where you manage your connected accounts, your Vault, and your personal info.
How to ask for things
Write the way you would write to an assistant. Say what you want done and include any details that matter, such as who a message is for, a budget, or a deadline. If Orin can find a missing detail itself, for example in your email or calendar, it will look before asking you.
While Orin is working
Longer tasks run in the background. Orin sends a short update when something meaningful changes and a message when the work is done. If you change your mind, send a new message with the change, or ask Orin to stop. Stopping ends the task from that point on, but it does not undo anything that was already completed.
What not to send
Never send passwords or verification codes in a message. When Orin needs a login for a website, it sends you a secure link where you can save it in the Vault instead. See how the Vault keeps your details for more.
